Hello! I’m Chanon Khongprasongsiri, a PhD student at Université Bretagne Sud in France. I specialize in hardware development, focusing on digital circuit design with Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). I write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using modern best practices in hardware development. As a fast learner, hard worker, and team player, I am proficient in FPGA development tools and various programming languages.

My research interests lie in computer architecture, computing systems, and reconfigurable architectures. In particular, I work on custom processor systems, coarse-grained reconfigurable arrays (CGRAs), and embedded AI applications.

I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi in Thailand, where I focused on digital systems, digital arithmetic, computer architecture, and low-power design for edge computing. I am passionate about contributing to more energy-efficient platforms and applications.

Outside of my academic pursuits, I enjoy reading novels and manga, watching anime, and constantly learning new things. When I have the chance to go out, I also love photography—especially street and landscape photography. I’m originally from Thailand and grew up in Nong Khai, which is located in north-east of Thailand and it is about 700 km from Bangkok.
